Make sure to inspect the cars before you rent them. I rented one - a beaten-up VW polo that was probably about 10 years old. It soon developed starting problems and was a complete headache. Due in part to the tyres being bald, I even had a slight accident with it.
Luckily for me, I wasn't charged for any damage, so everything is fair. But still, even for only 25 euros a day, it's not worth the headache. Pay more and go for a Western car rental company.
