Classic pub interior (could maybe do with a bit of TLC). Friendly staff.
And the lunch special steak was served like a great home-cooked aussie classic: chips made on site, salad fresh and freshly dressed (not with some sweet bottled rubbish) but with something that matched the salad and meat and had interest and balance, the sauce was generous on flavour.
