Food was really great. Texture of fried rice and flavourful Mapa tofu.. but I'm not sure about their service. It was not terrible but.. I mean it was't good enough. Despite of their low service, I might visit again because of the taste!

Food is ok, prices average but took a bit extra time to deliver the meals compared to other food delivery services.

*POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/RUDE DOORMAN* On Sunday my friend and I decided to go for Yum Cha and regrettably I chose Fortuna Court. I rang up in advance to secure a table but only to be told we could just come in, no names or contact number taken. When we arrived the restaurant was quite full and I was greeted by a middle age man with glasses "how many?" he said. I made a peace gesture and said "two". At that point in time two patrons nearby nearest to the bar had gotten up and started walking to pay. The doorman quickly pointed to the now emptied seats right beside the bar, which were quite cramp looking. Behind one of chairs o could seed some open cupboard boxes stacked on top of one another. Politely I asked "do you have any other tables available?" The door man's face was not pleased by my query and rudely replied "You can wait then..." immediately turned and walked away completely.
My friend and I didn't know how to react as we were quite clearly given the brushed off so we decided we just bite the bullet and quietly walked to our seats. As we ate I observe this door person as carried out collecting the odd plates or bills from paying clients. His demeanor and expression was simply miserable and grumpy. Then when next two patrons came through the door, he was half way across when he suddenly pointed at them and yelled out 'how many?" He clearly had no idea what customer service was or just basic manners for that matter.
Now I realized he might have some seniority at the restaurant but quite frankly this one person has ruined all my past experience I had at this restaurant. I would gladly avoid this restaurant in the future just so I don't have witness see this misery gut. BOOOooo!!!

Unfortunately fortuna has changed a lot since I last went several years ago. We ordered and the food came out within a few minutes. So straight away I could tell that very little cooking is involved and the it showed in the quality of the food. I wouldn't say it is "bad", but the food is very western safe, quite generic. We ordered two different meat dishes with two different sauces. The plates were almost identical, one just had a slightly different oily gloopy sauce than the other. They both tasted rather bland and sweet like something you'd expect out of a sauce jar. The beef was chewy, but acceptable. The duck actually tasted quite good, so some points there. Overall I'd mark this as a good "take out place" because your food will be ready in 5 minutes, but there's no real point in taking a table there. Also its noted that the dine-in menu is about $2-$3 more expensive than the take away menu per item. I couldn't help but feel like they want to close, but they can't justify it because of the location. For a restaurant on the parade, it just doesn't stand up. There is simply just better places out there. Won't be going back, sorry Fortuna :/
