Very helpful and friendly staff. I was approached soon after entering the home wares dept and appreciated the prompt service.

Myer is one of my favorite stores however it seems to me that it needs revamping. They are trying to attract more of the better know brands but we still misd out on a lot

Staffs were friendly and helpful. But the store looks so sad, the layout and decorations are so bad. The store need a total facelift. Even stores that sale cheap products are better organised. The lower floor for toys/books/travel goods is worst than any department stores I had seen, even any Warehouse storeroom look much better, few unfinished places, where they supposed to blocked it off? Where is the health and safety, which is supposed very important to all Myer stores?. I don't think the only guy who work down there feel good. At ground floor where the men's clothing area, Myer contractors were doing some work on the ladder , customers just work around them, I don't think that's the kind of situation which Myer required Myer staffs and contractors to follow some in-house safety procedures would be? So sad. How Myer wants to sell good quality products with a run-down store like this? With Target just next door, with much better setup? Hopefully someone from Myer will take notice, and do something. If they don't improve, won't be long it will be closed forever, because there are many other choices around for the customers of Ballarat. Maybe Myer only care about their stores in Melbourne.

Looking for a stand mixer. On arrival in electrical area two ladies also looking. We struck up conversation about the items we were looking at. Three people wanted to buy a stand mixer. We all looked for customer service. NONE! We chat amongst ourselves... Time elapsed, 12 minutes pass. One lady leaves during that time saying, I am going to harvey norman. We chat to the other customers saying no wonder Myer is in trouble. A lady emerges from the rest room overhears the conversation and says can I help, I am from toys but I can try and help. Awesome. Cheryl takes us and product to the counter where three service people are chatting and one was serving. Cheryl asks nicely a question to help us with an attachment. She was snappily told Chechen the tablet. I repeat Cheryl was from toys and on her lunch break we subsequently discover. Cheryl works through and gives us an answer while the people from the area drifted in and out of the conversation. The Cheryl put through the sale. We decided I could go onto the manufacturers website and order the attachment ourselves rather than have to deal with Myer again. I cannot thank Cheryl enough for her courtesy and care. If Cheryl can provide such service why cannot the rest of the staff. Never again Myer. Oh... And the other customer... She walked also.

Do not buy Myer gift cards here! They sold my mum an empty gift card & still took the money out of her account. When we took the gift card back with a bank statement the manager David said they had to investigate our claim & could only fix it on the Monday, 2 days later, & took our phone number. Mondays come & gone. No phone call, no explanation, no gift card, no money. I'll now try calling & visiting the store some more to try to recoup the voucher or money. Stressful.
