I’m from Japan and I’m a fan of Japanese and Chinese style dumplings.
I wanted to give this place a go since the review was pretty good.
Customer service is very good and even though staff were not Japanese, they were using Japanese to communicate for order and that was nice.
Food was just horrid. Pork and prawn dumpling was like a meatball in a skin and didn’t contain any leek, ginger or garlic to balance the smell of pork so the dumplings stunk. The soup of the ramen also need to be skimmed while kept on fire but they didn’t so it also stunk.
Overall if this store opened in Japan, this store would not last a month. If you wanna try dumplings, go to hakataya for them since their one is atleast edible.

This place stays true to what an izakaya is. Great atmosphere, music, and the trademark hospitality of a server in an izakaya. But alas, due to confirm with strict Australian Regulations, there must be trade offs for the authentic ones from Japan. I could list a few but of course, RSA is important.

Great atmosphere and staff, excellent food and the beer is amazing, 10/10 recommended the White Ale.
