Decent range of beers and a surprisingly excellent selection of wines. Not to mention the spirits. Try the British fish and chips.

This is the best value High Tea you will find in Brisbane. All food was fresh and delicious made even more so by the beautiful bone china we used.

So AMAZING I am reviewing this restaurant as I eat! The food, wine and dessert menu is wonderful. What a selection. The ambience is relaxing and peaceful. I took my two young daughters with me and they were more than accommodated for with a colouring set and good menu for kids. Even if it was busy I think it would still be just so. The decor is traditional, reminded me of a more olden day time. Clean and the staff were so friendly and lovely.
The Peking Duck pancakes and Blue Swimmer crab cakes was sublime. The Moscato fit perfectly, with the waitress recommending it as I requested a sweet wine. My children loved dining here. Price point could be an issue for some but I was okay with it. Will be back to visit again very soon!

I have this a 3 because it's a mixed bag. Ambience great, I love the different areas for people's different tastes. But we had 2 dishes which were polar opposites. Steak and Guinness pie, awesome. Meaty and flavorful even the mashed potato was great. But the chicken satay was ridiculously spicy, and who the he'll adds pineapple to satay?
