An absolutely sensational store, with super friendly, relaxed service. Their amazing selection of books are top quality, it will take you a few minutes to get your head around - just how super cheap the store is. I bought these three hardcover books for $6 each, all their books are in this price range.
I Googled the Frank Gehry hardback - the online retail price was $69.99. The Lights, Camera, Masala hardback would have easily been over $100 retail. The store is located in the food hall area of the Fortitude Valley Train Station, do allow plenty of time to browse, otherwise you will miss your train! It's the perfect place to find a thoughtful gift for that special person who is hard to buy for. The cooking books are great, I usually buy a few as they are hard to resist. Children's books are located in the far right hand back corner of the store. One visit will not be enough, I guarantee you will return.

This type of shop gets new books in bulk that are more or less just being discarded and then sells them cheap. I got a Watchmen coffee table companion book with for $6 which goes for $40 at Dymocks. Why? Because all the books are $6 and it was what they had at the time. Also I like The Watchmen, get over it. I believe sometimes the books even get discounted, if you can believe that. They get what they get so don't expect to be able to request a book willy nilly, but they have heaps of interesting books on literally any possible topic coming in and out of the doors all the time.
Definitely worth having a look when in the area

Amazing store! Quality books and a massive range of selection. Definitely check it out. It's annoying that the only store is located in The Valley but it is worth the trip in the end.

This bookstore is unreal, they have a great selection of books at very reasonable prices and the staff are friendly.
