I rented my car out for 12 months through carhood and I have to say it was a horrendous, painful experience where we had to threaten legal action multiple times. We had to chase for missed payment later every single month, and would often not have a reply to our frequent emails chasing payment and details on our car for months at a stretch. We would only finally hear back from them once we began engaging lawyers, and payment would still generally take a long time after that.
When we came to pick up our car, there was very obvious damage that they had not fixed and again we had to chase and chase to have his rectified and final payments processed.
Every time they would explain that they just didn't have a payment system in place, however I felt after 12 months that this was wearing thin.
Generally we just wished that they would at least respond to our emails and phone calls so that we didn't have to repeatedly chase them.
Definitely a stress we didn't need while we were abroad for 12 months.

Friendly staff and good service. Car was well presented and ready to go when we arrived.

The worst car rental company I have ever come across. We were given a faulty car that required towing. Couldn't even reverse it into a parking space, we had to push it. It took them 2 days to organise for it to be towed. Apparently no one is in charge at Brisbane, there is no manager to speak to.
No refund offered, just accusation of us damaging the car. My son missed out on his day at movie world because of these people. Not a single care was given by them. We now have a 9 hour wait at the airport because we refused to pay for another rental car. Customer service doesn't exist in this company. Do not use them.

Poor customer service on phone. If you couldn't help me with just a simple question of how far is your site from airport then i am not sure if you will provide a decent customer service if we rent a car. I can find the info online however customer service is to help customers and potential customers rather just suggesting them to go online and check yourself.

Not a bad experience although customer service could be more efficient and professional. Getting a car took longer than we expected (around 30 mins). Car was great and returning it was quick and easy.
