I once attended a party on these flats and it was one of the worst parties I've been to. Little to no bacon and what bacon there was was cold and unpalatable. If you like your good times mediocre at best and have a penchant for poorly repurposed Chinese market gardens come join the rich kids with hard to chew bacon down at Des Connor Fields.

Marist College Ashgroves bottom fields... Also known as "the flats". Not the greatest ovals but hey they are perfect for what they are used for, plus some really gorgeous scenery in Enoggera creek running behind out.
