The female chemist was not friendly at all. Can't say she was rude,but definitely not friendly. People can smile and be a bit nicer when talking to customers. Definitely will not go back there

Its as if they do not belong to the chemist warehouse franchise, they do not honor price match which is a joke and waste of my time i will be reporting this incident to head office for failing to abide by your franchise agreement, if you want to make your own rules then change the name of your store!!! Misleading and deceptive

As pharmacies go, Chemist Warehouse is competitively priced. But it's important to know that the name Chemist Warehouse is literally true. It doesn't matter whether it's Adelaide St in downtown Brisbane or in the middle of the desert, each & every store is crammed from floor to ceiling with merchandise, the aisles so narrow that two averagely built people cannot stand abreast. I'm not exaggerating. It's cramped.
Last week I made a purchase here. Both prescription medication and some toiletries. Despite the fact that the lunchtime rush made the store understandably busy, the staff at the dispensary were pleasant and efficient.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of one of the two 'checkout operators' at the front of the store. My purchase, six items totalling approximately $64.00, was processed by the operator in such a sullen, 'put upon' manner that I honestly felt as if I had done something to offend her.
Everything she did during the transaction was underpinned by a kind of surliness, like she was a petulant child, treating her job as if it were punishment.
Her attitude, quite frankly, bordered on silent hostility. Once my payment had been processed, I took my receipt & said 'thank you'. I would have said 'thank you' regardless, but on this occasion I said it as much to gauge her reaction. She said nothing. Didn't even look at me.
I left the store, to be honest, a little taken aback by the young woman's rudeness. Within a few seconds of exiting, I collected myself and re-entered the store, having decided to see if I could identify her by a name tag in order to share this feedback.
There was no name tag visible. The fact that this staff member was laughing and joking with her colleague at the next register suggested strongly the idea that she is perfectly happy in her work as long as she isn't burdened by the presence of customers.

I like coming here to pick up the health supplements I need. Sometimes, the queues get long but I don't mind because it's the one place you can go to with the collection of more brands than in other shops. I enjoy that they have other items such as dish-washing liquid too! Good for browsing.
