While over visiting our son he suggested we try a Beefys before going back to NZ.
We called in on Easter Monday at 1.45 to find only 8 pies and a couple of pasties were left. Signs over cake cabinets saying there was an issue with the chiller and to ask for any cakes and they would get them from out the back.
(I feel this was not a result of something not working but a convenient option preventing the cabinets having to be cleaned at the end of the day).
Due to a loud buzzing noise which was ear piercing coming from the door we couldn't hear the girl telling us what flavours were left and I had to keep asking her to disconnect the noise which she kept doing in between serving us, facial and body expression showed she wasn't impressed having to do it.
We asked for apple turnovers and donuts but were told "we don't have any".
There was a batch of pies cooking but these were apparently vegetarian. Why on earth would you do a batch of vegetarian when these would not be more popular than a good old meat pie.
Think twice before buying a pastie as there is so much pastry compared to filling.
To sum it up "poor customer service, poor experience and poorly run business".
