And that's being nice. Think the large portions are to make up for the quality of the food. How do you burn egg fried rice! Salt and pepper squid could've bounced off the wall and if I wanted instant noodles instead of chow mein I would've gone to Coles.

First time I've had takeaway here and it was terrible, and I'm not meaning average, but really bad. The rice was like it had been sitting around for hours, the sauces were sickly sweet, and I couldn't find the meat (pork, beef & chicken dishes) as it was hidden in the loads of onions (the menu needs updating to be onion dishes with meat surprise!). The price wasn't cheap and I'd get better value eating food from a bain marie.

The place is really run down. No lights in the toilets might be just temporary but the whole place looks like nothing has been maintained for about 20 years. The food seemed fresh and was on par with average Chinese take away shops. The service was friendly and pleasant. Would probably eat their food again but not dine in.

I am a regular here for takeaway and I'm fussy. The servings are a good size and the quality of food is on the better side. Ashgrove is a prosperous suburb and we tend to attract quality. Having said that, it's not a restaurant you'd take a date to dine-in in; but you can't beat their take-away.
