First tried Thai at Thai Orchid Springwood 20 years ago and eaten Thai all over the country. Had a Banquet on Sunday and food was bland- entrees were all nearly all minced chicken dishes and no vegetables and meals were mainly vegetables. Coating on prawns much thicker than prawns. So much better close by.

Ordered lamb, prawns and chicken.
Shocked, the food got delivered cold.
Asked to reheat or re-do, came back same !! Asked if it was a precooked, reheated meal, response was everything is cooked fresh.
As blend and grim, it tasted old too !!
Sorry Thai Orchid carindale, you sucked the long days wait into playing possum.
Good try, but that Thai taste does not agree with the tastes we hv for it from around the world.
Try to hire some better chef please.

Sorry we were trying to help the cashier lady into convincing her, it wasn't her fault, she was great, called the boss a couple of times, who replied, telling her, could only do 30% off !!

I only luckily agreed to pay $25, even that was not worth.
Should you refund that as well, then you can serve any trash blend as, tasteless or whatever, we would not care anymore, damage is done, unfortunately !!

Went out for dinner at Thai orchid last night and the food was amazing! Absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Meals came out quickly and looked and tasted amazing. We will definitely be coming back.
