This place is the freshest, cleanest (least ghee laden) indian food I have had in brisbane and I have been a regular at haunts like :sitar, The Indus, Punjabi Palace etc. Beautiful decor, attentive staff and SERIOUSLY GOOD curry. Kashmiri Lamb shanks have been ordered on 3 different occasions and satisfied all! Mango chicken and lamb saagwaala also fab. A great experience which didn't leave a 'curry hangover' and didn't have me up all night guzzling water.

I just had a lunch deal which costs like $5 for just a takeaway lunch pack, containing half rice and half curry, I had a vege korma and was very mild, really well, I love the place now just for having a small sample of the curry today, xo.

We've had curries from about every Indian restaurant in Paddington, Bardon, Ashgrove and Red Hill and the Curry Republic has them all beat, hands down.
We have thrown all the other menus away. Viva la República!
