Terrible
Felt like a grudge match to get my steak cooked medium rare.
So over arrogant chefs that won't make right when they make a mistake.
- undressed salad
- poor quality meat
- disgusting and dated sides (chickpeas and chopped capsicum)
Such a shame as could be great.

Food is decent but not mind-blowing. Prices are mid-range. Pork belly crackling was top notch. Snapper was a bit "fishy" smelling and most likely frozen.
We occasionally dine here because it is walking distance to our home, which is the most attractive part. Would not travel to have this dining experience.
Pleasant watering hole with stunning views over the golf course, good spot for a sundowner and also if you're a local and want to wander home over the limit. 😉

I went with friends from work for a farewell party. But had to wait at least 50 minutes for a med well steak. It was not like the restaurant was that busy. steak did not come with steak knife. I asked for one they said they were in the dishwasher. never saw that knife. meat was bad quality. service was a disgrace. I know it is only a golf club restaurant but still it was bad and also saw this restaurant only got a 3 star food safety rating from Brisbane city council out of 5 that does not boost confidence. If you are going out for a meal in the gap then I would saw do not go here go to the gap tavern.
