I spent all day yesterday waiting for my son to have his finger stitched. It took three hours to have it done while he kept bleeding! The waiting period is outrageous for sick or injured patients. Doctors have other priorities such as socialising among themselves and have no sympathy for patients. What a disgraceful service. One star is too much to be honest.

My son was sent by his GP last Friday to BRH/ED for comminuted wrist fracture. He was asked to go home and was told to wait for a correspondence
regarding treatment plan! It"s been 4 days since last Friday but no correspondence from the hospital contacted my son. Ive tried calling hospital switch but could not help us. My son has been trying to call BRH for follow up but couldn't get a response from the provided phone number. How can you discharge patient without a concrete plan? We are worried sick as my son is by himself in Bunbury and we are in Brisbane. We are very disappointed with your public service!

Waited 3 hrs with a broken finger and was told to take a form to xray. Xray dept wouldnt take the form and said it hadnt been called through. Said they were busy and would call me later..um well how would they know who i was if they wouldnt take the form. Driving to Perth tomorrow to get proper care. Will drive to Perth first thing next time something happens to me. Was made to feel like an inconvenience in bunbury.
