Some good naturals areas very close to the city, but needs some clearing up as lots of noxious weeds present.

Great place to mountain bike. Well marked. Loose dirt over hard is the ground make-up. Great for beginners as well with not much elevation gain across the area

Beaut spot for walking, running and - my preference - riding. Well maintained tracks with many levels of difficulty. The rental bike I’m using was perfect for the steep, rocky tracks.
Wonderful experience and I will repeat this next visit to Canberra.
