Beware with Europcar, this shop can cancel your booking placed for few months already and right before you go to pick it up in hot season. Extremely frustrating especially your travel from overseas, no reason is given and only said no car when called them. In case you wanna be surprised please try but I will keep myself away from all Europcar from now on.

Awful service. First car i hired was poor and wire showing in the steer tyre, that car was swapped for a mirage with rough idle. Was promised 2 free days of hire for inconvenience, so kept the car a little longer. Informed them each day i was keeping it longer only to be argued with and accused of not informing them at all. When i showed them my call logs proving otherwise he grunted. Doesnt like giving eftpos receipts either. After returning car i was told i wasnt credited 2 free days hire just $40. Ill never hire Europcar again. Has treated my debit card like his own card. Made multiple charges and less than half credits. Shabby inside and out!

BEWARE THIS GUY IS A SCAM. When my pregnant partner and I were moving house we rented a van for the day. When returned it was still in good condition as we hadn't crashed or hit anything. The guy accused us of a few scratches on the truck that were already there. He then took $400 off my credit card without even telling me, this was so doggy. I had to email and ring the head office in Eucpar to get my money back which took 4 months!! This man also threatened my pregnant wife, accused her, she didn't' need this stress! DO NOT GO HERE. It was an Indian man that gave us so much hassle.

ATTENTION FOR ALL DRIVER PLEASE BEAWARE THIS BRANCH.
If I have choice I'm not even give 1 star to this eurocar 48 mercer st branch. This was my super worse experience ever, I booked a small auto vehicle for 4 days online which is AUD 351.xx with additional driver and gozen coverage return to southern cross station . Was only a dark skin guy working on 23rd Mar, I told him I've got a reservation and show him my paper work, he pretending didn't see and hear it, and asked me am I only the driver, I said have 2 driver, he also said the price is not include additional driver, asked me do you want to buy insurance? I said i booked it, when he took my friend and my driving licence and ID to photo copy, I have a look his computer, was AUD500.xx shown on the system. I was shocked, And then I said I booked everything online, i told you many time this is my reference number, can you please check, don't you see it? he answer me in few second, and said he saw it, but he charged me AUD 4.xx more, I really don't know WHY. Is common sense if you dont know anything, just tell the customers to show you the reference number and check, and then you can see all the detail on the system, unless the dark skin guy that I mentioned is cheating, pretending didn't see didn't hear to get more money from the people who he think is idiot.
