The shoreline has changed somewhat after the renovation. The salad bar is gone, and the decor has been revamped along with the menu.
The prices seem to have gone up a little with the new menu. Perhaps we aren't the kind of clientele they are trying to attract these days.
Play ground and outdoor dining are both currently out of action.
The seafood platter for two was nice but didn't seem to represent value for money by previous standards - at $70 it could be described as a fishermen's basket for one with 2 oysters and 4 king prawns added.
The stewed pear and frangelico pannacotta was delicious as was the trio of pannacotta. At only $9 the desserts were excellent value.

Wouldn't order the cook it yourself salmon again. Oil spitting everywhere on my shirt! And in my eye. And pretty much everywhere. Too expensive aswell.

Great food and friendly helpful staff. Not too upmarket but nice enough to feel you are going to get a good meal a better service than other pub meals. I love the buffet, my husband doesn't. He'd prefer a full plate of chips, but I think the staff would accommodate if asked

We go there about twice a year hoping it will have improved. Food is ordinary and way overpriced. Floor staff are competent and unobtrusive. Great work on their side.

The staff really sell the restaurant. They're friendly and very helpful. Food is what let's the whole thing down. Aside from steaks, mains just aren't all that pleasant to eat. I was once a fan of the Morrocan chicken but seems it's undergone a recipe change and can't say I like it much anymore. The complimentary food bar that goes with any main is nice but doesn't take away from what is otherwise overpriced mediocre food.
