Beautiful and relaxing park in Hobart. The Subantarctic Garden was a unique experience - just remember to dress warm! Japanese garden is meticulously laid out and is very picturesque. Highly recommend a visit. Be sure to give yourself a couple of hours to fully enjoy the experience.

Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable volunteers. Restaurant and staff was an added bonus. Great food and lovely outlook. Top class. Thanks 😚

This is a fantastic garden to have a wander in and if you get hungry they have a nice restaurant on the top of the hill.
Highly recommended visiting the Japanese garden while your there; very relaxing.

Absolutely Gorgeous- the only downside was that the restaurant and cafe were a little overpriced. But must visit. Try sleeping on the soft grass under the sun; you'll love it.

That was fantastic! These botanical gardens show a great range of plants from all around the world in a well designed way. Also everything's cleaned up and tidy. Worth a visit - chat with the gardeners, they got amazing things to tell!
