Easily the best service we’ve had in Tasmania. We were made to feel very welcome by the manager who is incredible at hosting and creating a memorable experience. The pizza and pasta were awesome, but the service stands out as the biggest win, then the food! Totally deserves all the credit and positive reviews. If you like a casual vibe and tasty Italian food, this is worth it.

Was recommended by a friend as "best Italian ever". Did not disappoint. Fabulous friendly super professional staff. Great fine list. Superb flavours.

What an absolutely delightful restaurant to have dinner in Hobart! Exceptional customer service (everyone being so happy and helpful) amazing food that tasted incredible as well as the ambience of the restaurant. Simon in particular made our evening splendid. He went above and beyond for me and my partner. Our stay in Tasmania was made even more memorable. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat dinner in Hobart I highly recommend. I never usually do reviews but this was exceptional and deserved some gratitude - amazing, thank you Simon and the rest of the staff you’re all doing an amazing job!

My wife and I decided to dine here for our final night in Hobart and were not disappointed. The owner, Simon, introduced himself and treated us as old friends from start to finish. I can honestly say that this was the best experience both us have ever had from a restaurant. The food was incredible and the service exceptional.
Thanks guys for a fantastic night neither of us will forget. Looking forward to coming back again in the near future.

The best food I've eaten anywhere. Solo is a great restaurant, the staff and proprietor really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and attended to. The food is second to none, pasta and pizza are both better than any other I've had in the world, including Italy itself. We've been here across multiple visits to Tasmania and it's always been fantastic. A meal not to be missed. Book ahead, even on the same night, as it's always very busy.
