Had a function there staff were very negative and made the vibe really depressing not a smile amongst them the venue it’s self was very underwhelming nothing like it’s google advertisement would have you believe messy all over the place pool was filthy and has a 8$ entry fee and greens were not great, they were ok. but not great Golf there is Way way overpriced. Meals were horrible and bar service was poor at best. The staffs attitude is what ultimately brings my review to 1 star. Adrian is the worst.

All in all I had an enjoyable wedding - we chose the location because of the beautiful views and because staff were always quick to reply. The day went well, but it's the aftermath that has soured the experience. My sister, who was the maid of honour and her girlfriend were cut off from the bar. The location claims this was due to responsible service of alcohol. My sister believes her and her girlfriend were discriminated against. I don't know who is right, but I do know that my sister was getting me drinks from the bar during the night and was drinking slowly because she wanted to do a good job of her speech. I also know that there were people around her that appeared to be more intoxicated. I also know that my 87 year old grandfather lacking complete mental faculties was able to access enough wine to scull, even with family trying to stop him, but this somehow wasn't picked up on. I hope this isn't a case of discrimination and is just a case of poor management. My sister left a review expressing her feelings.

Now, on my honeymoon, I have been bothered by an email threatening legal action against my sister for her review. When replying with a phone number for them to contact, I was further bothered with a request for an email address. In the passive aggressive email I received, the following reference to my 87 year old grandfather was made: "Considering our Duty Manager had to assist in the removal of another of your guests due to excessive alcohol consumption and the amount of cleaning that was required in your guest’s rooms due to vomiting and excrement on the floor of rooms, it may be best to ask your sister to remove all of her personally insulting and defamatory posts." Again, I question how it was possible for him to consume this amount of alcohol with family actively trying to stop him. I will also add that when my father attempted to get the duty manager to find a wheelchair he wandered off and talked to the bar staff instead and didn't tell my father he couldn't find one - my father had to ask him. My 87 year old grandfather then had to be removed on a luggage cart. Is this really the correct first aid procedure in this sort of situation, particularly with an elderly man? And what does the behaviour of an elderly man have to do with my sister's complaint?

There was also no attempt to contact us in relation to cleaning costs- something we would be happy to pay for as we are horrified at my grandfather's behaviour, though I have since learned it was covered by another relative. I also question the appropriateness of harassing me with a rude email when it would have been just as easy to politely ask for my sister's contact details and discuss the matter with her, rather than expecting me to mediate whilst overseas on my honeymoon.

I am disappointed that there appears to have been no attempt to take my sister's complaints seriously. Instead she was threatened. While I don't condone personally attacking people, I don't agree with how this was handled. My mother went in to find out about cake the next day and was essentially told they were too busy to look around. Other guests also have complained to me about sullen and arrogant attitudes of certain staff members during the reception. It's the feeling of now that the venue has received our money that they are no longer interested in keeping us happy, and concern over the apparent lack of first aid procedure that has prompted the writing of this review.

I had a lovely day, the ceremony was beautiful, and I can't fault the staff on communication and organisation in the lead up to the wedding, but I am unfortunately left stewing over this on my honeymoon.

This is a classy course. Impressive from when you drive up to when you leave. Friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop. The course is fantastic and challenging enough with out being silly. The fairways are well grassed and the greens are nice and firm. There are enough challenges to keep you thinking, but the course is forgiving enough to allow golfers of of all levels to enjoy.
It is always a pleasure to play on a course like this, your game seems to be secondary to the beautiful scenery you are playing in.

Just spent an amazing time here. Rooms clean and classy. Judith on Reception lovely. Picture perfect views, the mini golf was fantastic, but the pride of the Palms is the staff. Vanessa in the restaurant is amazing, lovely, charming, Nothing is too much trouble. Clint gave us some good chats and places to go and see. Terry in the bar, always smiling. I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much
