Rooms neat but old. Stated were upgraded to a newly renovated room, not sure when it was renovated maybe mid 90's. Staff professional and polite. Nothing wrong with the place but get the rooms on special. Great Central location. Great farmers market on the weekend across the road.

Stayed in an Executive King room. Almost didn't get it as when I went to book someone booked the last room from underneath me! The lady in Reservations was amazing and was able to still get me a room. She matched the price too. So comfortable, clean, and chic. I will be definitely staying here for my next business trip.

Hands-down the ONLY place to stay when in Launceston. The rates vs the opulence of this hotel is something that has to be experienced to be believed. Exceptionally well appointed rooms make for a very comfortable stay indeed. Right in the heart of the city and close to everything, making it the perfect location for your exploration of Launceston and surrounds. Very professional and friendly staff, and the food from the restaurant is absolutely delightful.

Of the dozen stays I've had, the service and standards have been consistently high. Yes the building is a little dated but this adds to the charm. Great location, close proximity to many Launceston sights. At Christmas time you can enjoy the carols from the nearby park
