Although the service was done in the usual timely manner, there was an awful petrol smell that lasted for a few days after they had changed the fuel filter which I hadn't expected. When I returned to find out about it, they managed to fix it without knowing what the problem was. It must have just been something simple and upon investigating, it was fixed. Maybe something was just lose, no idea. I'm just glad it's fixed.
The cleaning of the car could have been better too as the windscreen was still a bit dirty afterwards which is unusual.
It would have been good to know ahead of time that this was going to be a $400 service instead of the usual $240ish.
However the people are lovely to deal with, very polite and helpful, nothing is too much effort and they follow up quickly afterwards too, which is nice. If they encounter a more puzzling problem they always give me a loan car to use until mine is fixed and tested properly. Which has happened twice since purchasing my car in 2013.
I will continue to get my i30 serviced here as generally I feel confident that a proper job has been done and it will keep a continuous service record for my previously brand new car.

Hyundai Motors Launceston provide excellent service. The process of booking in the car for service, the service itself and repairing the recall fault were provided a by friendly service team and the whole experience was faultless, time accurate and with no financial "surprises". Very happy.

First time I have taken a car to a dealer for service and I was very impressed. Nothing was a problem, the service was explained to me clearly before taking place and it was $100 cheaper than my local mechanic. I will certainly recommend motors to anyone for service of their car
