If you forgot to buy something at Coles or Woolies before their closing time of 9pm, then you can go and buy those things at open 24/7 all dag and night IGA. But the place is expensive and I don't go there very often.

First thing its always expensive,second i have brought a pork on sale i prepared it and was ready to eat dinner found it was smelling funny rotten, i complained about it in iga website.ruined my dinner money and time..how could some one sale stuff like that...
/recently i VISIT 3 sept 2017 and the looks has been changed,they are beating the price of coles and wollies in few items and competing in others....Feels like they are getting serious this time to get loyal customers...

My comment it's from around more then 2 weeks ago, when I last time visited the 'IGA' in East Mackay.* THE place it's not like it use to be our 'old fashioned way' 'Hatfield's'☺😋😄...Very expensive,🤐😟 😒even dearer then Coles and Woolies! 'IGA''s prices on certain products are racing up so fast weekly, that it only makes me to grim, whinge to the staff, and to get less then I came for to get. The store owners thinks that us, their customers - we're stupid, and that we don't notice what they are doing with their prices! My answer to these notoriously happening prices going up at 'IGA' is 'THE G R E E D!!!' Making more money, money, money by the owners!😞😟🙁😤Disgusting and awful. Also, 'IGA's fruit and vegs are a very 'poor' qualities. If you buy them, you have to use them within 2 days, otherwise they'll rot and you'll need to throw them out. They're also tasteless most of the times!😕😟😤 ...I'll pay, leave the shop immediately, and go back to Coles in CBD, to continue my groceries shopping. Why sometimes I'll still pop in to this 'IGA'? Because it's on my way home, but I try to avoid it as much as I can! Staff at East Mackay 'IGA' is very friendly, polite and helpful☺, but they all look scared, depressed, hardly smile knowing that they've been watched on the hidden cameras from 'above' by their employer or the manager..('The 'Big Brother'- 'The Spy in the Sky'!!!😯😔)when serving the customers. So sad and disturbing...😩🙁😞Plus the shop is filthy outside in a parking areas, and nobody (the owners!*) cares at all. I don't recommend this store. Think twice before you walk in...😒🤔
