We've been going here for a couple of years and it is just really nicely done Japanese food. We particularly like the bento box lunches and my elderly parents greatly enjoyed the upstairs table BBQ dinner. Very clean and fresh and well balanced.

Saw the great ratings so decided to go. Taste was above par, and probably worth 5 stars. However, for the price, I can get a way more fulfilling meal at another Japanese place with only a slightly lower level of deliciousness.
Having gone with a friend who's been multiple times over the past 4 years, I heard the size of the servings is also becoming that of a "fine dine" portions.
4 stars overall, though I probably would look elsewhere for casual dining. Special occasion? Sure I'd go back!

Last minute drop in for dinner here last (Saturday) night, they had plenty of room in the quieter upstairs space which suited us just fine. We chose the grill it yourself option and it was a superb meal, reasonably priced, super fresh ingredients and pleasant attentive service at a level not common in Melbourne restaurants these days. All in all a wonderful dining experience, highly recommended.
