Stayed at Rydges Swanston Street in October found the room we stayed in spotless, also the reception staff were very helpful. The bar staff were very friendly. Transport to the city via tram was only a few stops, and the trams run every few minutes.

Location was fabulous. Booked a standard king, paid for an upgrade but didn't really seem like an upgrade the room was very basic but nice enough. Bathroom door had problems closing. Staff were brilliant very helpful and friendly.

Comfortable, stylish, well laid out and appointed rooms. Friendly service and attention to detail from staff. Secure parking available.

Unfortunately for the price we found the room very out of date and awefully small. The bathroom was in dire need of cleaning as both hand basin and shower were filthy and mouldy. On the upside the main bed was very comfortable and the Tram was just outside the hotel. However, the rollout bed had broken springs and so my son slept in a hammock. Rydges need some updating!!!

Great venue and location for a work event. The chef for breakfast was fantastic. Fantastic energy, customer service and omelet. Thank you 👍
