Stoke Bar + Kitchen Melbourne is the newly transformed downstairs area of Stokehouse in Melbourne's CBD. Most of us are well aware for the horrible incident that occurred at Stokehouse St Kilda, the sea side landmark which was destroyed by fire. A few months later Stokehouse reopened on Albert Place near the Parliament end of Collins Street. The new venue still followed in the foots steps of Stokehouse St Kilda by providing fine dining in a light airy venue. ...

Tried the tasting menu and found all 5 dishes to be very inventive and great flavours all round. Its a shame the service is so ordinary.

obviously st kilda is the place to be now, trendy, edgy and high classy places. the food is not bad, in fact its awesome. check it out!

Lovely place on the beach-front offering excellent people-watching opportunities. This place is always packed on a sunny day, so it's not one for quiet reflection. The service can be variable but generally I've enjoyed my visits to the Stokehouse for casual dining very much.
