We have used the Gold Class at Rivoli 5 times over the last 14 months. On three of those occasions staff serving within the cinema have either forgotten about a drinks order or have forgotten a food order. At the 3.45 pm session yesterday, no food 40 minutes after ordering and being seated. Pressed the green button and had "oh sorry there has been a mix up". Another 15 minutes later the wedges arrived. There seems to be ample staff on hand, but when paying top dollar for Gold Class you do expect the basics to be covered.

Incredibly comfortable seats, plenty of space for your legs and feet, and the theatre's decor looks fantastic. Also, from my past experiences watching films here, it seems like the audiences who come to this theatre are very respectful and always be quiet when watching the films, which is a sign that they are film lovers that take their cinema experience seriously.

It is a lovely cinema, but if you want people to buy their tickets from the candy service area, please add more staff so the wait isn't so long.

Best commercial cinema in Melbourne. Have been going here for over 25 years. The art deco style is not the only reason why I travel from South Yarra (I live next door to Village Jam Factory), but it's the staff. Whoever is managing the team there is doing a great job. They are young and have a good understanding of being personable and genuine. Please keep up it up, it does not go unnoticed!
