Beware if you've been referred here to get a skin prick test for allergies!
My baby had a severe anaphylactic reaction to nuts so we went to the hospital. The hospital then referred us to the Melbourne children's clinic so that we can get a skin prick test and see what exactly she's allergic to. The following week, I took my baby to the Melbourne children's clinic. Saw the doctor but she refused to do a skin prick test simply because my baby had a bit of eczema on her cheeks (she was teething at the time) and a mild cough (very normal things in babies)... But still charged me $440. I complained as my purpose was to get a test to get to the bottom of the allergies but I was told by the receptionist that it's common with this clinic to have to see the doctor about 3 times before they will do a skin prick test (so that would be all up $440x3= 1320!!!!) Don't know about you, but that sounds ridiculous. I've now booked with another specialist. Waste of time and money. Go elsewhere. If I could, I would leave zero stars but I can't as it won't let me leave a review
