Luscombe St Community Garden in the heart of East Brunswick is unique in Moreland, a community garden on private land. Set on a vacant block sandwiched between houses, the landlord agreed with some enterprising residents that they could temporarily use the space for growing food. Bravo! More of this please.
There are a mix of personal and shared growing beds in the garden.
The garden has hosted some fantastic public events (Hot Diggity) over recent years with bands playing, food trucks serving food and hundreds of people having a great time!
