A huge thank you to the team at. Masque. I wanted to surprise my friend for her 40th birthday. I was traveling from Adelaide-my friend arrived before I did, but the wonderful team at Masque continued with the charade till I arrived to reveal the surprise.
The spa treatment was fabulous and the duo room was welcoming warm and cozy. And to top it off a birthday cake for my friend. Masque made the whole experience something to remember.

A very calm and welcoming environment - tea was a nice touch...but most importantly i enjoyed my massage, nice movements, firmness and comfy beds. The staff were all very professional and friendly. The oils used smelt amazing but have left my skin a little dry the next day...all in all i thought it was good value for money and i would recommend Masque to my friends! Thanks so much

I was not going to write a review although I do not want people to spend lots of money and have an experience that me and my friend received. We both received the 4 hour spa day pack as a gift and it has a value of $400 each ($800 total). So we expected an amazing relaxing day out.
Firstly there was no parking over 2hrs my friend ran in at 8.50 to ask and they said there was parking two streets away after driving for 20 mins we finally found a spot 15 mins walk away from the spa. There was no indication that there was no parking then when we arrived the ladys then mentioned we were late and this would eat into our treatment time. They then asked us to fill out paperwork that then took another 10 mins not once beforehand had she asked us to arrive earlier to fill this out this also ate into our treatment time that she kept mentioning it was now 9.30. They brought us out back to someones kitchen with massage beds in it, this didn't bother me too much but I kept thinking how expensive the package was and it was not worth the money. It mentioned on the website you could get shellac if you pay $20 extra so we mentioned this they looked shocked then said there was not enough time I then mentioned I had shellac on they then told me I could not get my manicure as they could not take the shellac off the only option was too get my shellac painted over to which I said no.. We were asked to choose our nail colours but if they were too gloopy then we couldn't use them or if they were nearly empty we could not use this either (why not remove the ones we couldn't use). We then had a 'foot scrub' for 5 mins then got a body scrub I was then sent to a shower to hose myself down and no shower gel then I was brought to a bath out back where I was left for 30 mins while my friend got her manicure done it was a blinding light in the bathroom and after 15 mins I was starting to think they forgot about me also the bath was crusty on the bottom, then she finally came. I went back to our treatment room that was now filled with acetone which nearly knocked me out. I went and lay down the girl then started my toes I was so dehydrated from the bath after 20 mins I then had to ask for water - she only filed my left foot and forgot about the other one, then the older lady hit my toe after it was painted this happened twice and she didn't say anything and my toes were smudged. My friend also said while I was in the bath the lady was filling her nails round and she wanted them square she then said her nails were too short to be sqaure and scolded my friend. Anyway she asked me to turn around and my toes were not 100% dry the got smudged again they also where not painted to the cuticle which was strange. It then got so cold as the heater was off I thought my toes might fall off then she finally put the heater on. The massage was OK but I think my girl was an apprentice as she was very light and didn't get into knots and we had the facial. At 12.20 we got at lunch from the cafe next door we ate this in the same room we had our treatments the food was cold and the room was dark and still smelled strongly of acetone.
I did not have the heart to tell my boyfriend about the experience as he spent so much money on it and was so excited for me to have a lovely day out- If it had of been less money it might have been ok although $400 is unjustifiable for this spa day...

My husband booked us in for a spa package for our anniversary and we were blown away. The massages were the best we have had yet and we have been to some high end spa's and paid so much more for our treatments. The girls were so professional and lovely. In regards to facial, they talked to us about our skin to give us a facial for our skin type. We highly recommend this place and we will be back. Thanks girls for making our day.

I have been coming at Masque for more than 3 years now and I am always amazed as to how they manage to combine good business with personalized and top quality service. The individualized tailor made approach also shines through in the treatments; I have never had the same massage at Masque! Every person working at Masque has their own style and you as a customer are always welcomed as a unique individual with specific needs that Masque will genuinely try to cater to. I once made the mistake of having my waxing done somewhere else, because it was cheaper and never again will I compromise when it comes to my body! Masque is actually quite reasonable when it comes to price. The original concept of paying for the time you spend waxing instead of a set item price really suits my needs and I am surprised I have not come across it anywhere else.
