Undoubtedly, this is the best medical centre in Port Macquarie. (I have tried several others). I have been a patient for nearly a decade (coming across from Waniora), and Greenmeadows is also actually superior to Sydney General Practices where I lived for 40 years +. What stands Greenmeadows Health Centre apart from the rest are the following:- All the staff (both medical and admin) care and take the time to listen, learn your name and help with whatever reasonable request they can. I have never been rushed in an appointment. Questions are encouraged. Answers and collaborative problem solving are the norm; there is the attitude that the patient knows something about some medical matters and that they (the health practitioner) are on equal footing with you neither talking down (or up) to you. I really appreciate that. Above all, I have the strong belief in the exemplary competence in the medical staff, experienced and with a good "bedside manner". I can usually obtain a timely appointment, and if it is urgent, same day has never been a problem. Whatsmore, a Pharmacy on site is brilliant. The waiting rooms are aesthetically pleasing and Dory is waiting in the wings. The patients all seem to be nice (and not too unhealthy) too. All the staff are happy in their roles, staff morale is high and the stability of staff retention is evident of this. PS This is an unsolicited review!!

I have been to several doctors in my life and Julia Edmond is by far the most beautiful, respectful, and caring doctor. The staff at the centre although always busy are extremely considerate and do their best! I have suggested this practice for many others, it's popularity is shown in the difficulty it is to grab a booking however the quality practice out ways this completely.

They simply have no respect for their customer's time.
First visit, I was given a referral to get a CT scan and when I arrived to get the scan done, it wasn't clear to the people there what scan I needed. I had to reschedule two appointments to accommodate.
Second visit, I am in the waiting room writing this review. It is currently 2:40 and my appointment was meant to be at 2:00. I have clients of my own who are waiting.
After asking at the front desk, I was seen by a different doctor who did literally nothing but instruct me to "come back in a month if it doesn't get better".
So if you have a busy schedule and responsibilities like most folks do, and you want proper care, I suggest you find a GP who respects your time.
They simply have no respect for their customer's time.
