I recently spent four days at the Mater Hospital and cannot fault it. From reception, surgical admissions, theatre, HDU and the ward I was greeted with friendly, caring, professional staff. If you need a hospital in Rockhampton, I highly recommend the Mater.

The service I received from the Mater Hospital was exceptional, the staff were brilliant. Even though, they were understaffed they delivered outstanding care.

My mother needed a hospital facility in her final days (may her soul rest in peace) and I am so, so glad that I paid the extra to have her at the Mater Hospital. The Base Hospital is so cold and sterile but this hospital made my mother's final days a little more comfortable and friendlier.
Thank you Mater hospital, your facility is truly, truly appreciated.
