The kind of casually cool eatery you would expect to find tucked away in an achingly hip Melbourne suburb. located outside of the busy shopping strip of Surry Hills, this place is a neighbourhood gem. Wherelse can you find a full menu of hearty burgers for weekend breakfast? Hangover cure - sorted. Be sure to drop by on Sunday evenings for live music, well stocked back bar and a completely different feel to their daytime offerings.

Revisited here recently for breakfast, maybe it was an off day but I feel like the Fern has lost its charm. The building is still great and the food is plenty good but it just doesn't have that awesome vibe it used to have.

Had coffee once, it was Poo threw it out. Had a visitor over and similar experience. Terrible coffee
