This has been on my "to eat" list for a while and I was even more excited seeing as they retained their agfg hat this year. The food was pretty good with a few twists on usual flavours but I definitely wasn't blown away by the food, especially for the price tag associated with it. The soft serve dessert was inventive and delicious but not something to rave on about. I do have to give them props for fantastic and friendly service. Sadly though I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Amazing. Some places I wish I could give six stars to, but even that wouldn't be enough for Hartsyard. I highly recommend it. Excellent staff, amazing drinks, and extremely delicious food (buffalo chicken skins I would happily travel a hundred kms for, and trout that I wish I could have eaten more of, even though I don't normally like fish).

Great food and really friendly staff! I've sat at the bar both times I was there and the bartender was really easy to talk to and made delicious custom drinks. Would defo recommend the Globe Artichoke dish and Fried Chicken. The Shrimp and Grits was also really good, but it's not like classic Shrimp and Grits that they serve in the South in the U.S. - it was made with polenta and it's way saucier.

Wear your stretchy pants ladies and gentlemen, because a feast awaits you. Don't be fooled by the serving sizes. Designed to share, the dishes are incredibly rich and delicately complex in flavour.
If unsure about what to order, or how much, trust in your waiter for advice. They know what they're doing and can guide you along the way.
Choosing a favourite dish here is like choosing your favourite child. Order what grabs you, then go back another day and order the rest. It would be a crime not to try everything on offer.
Make an occasion of it, or go simply because it's Wednesday. Just make sure you go.

Tried the "Let us cook for you" option. Wonderful selection of share plates with an American flavour to them. Dishes felt like they were served a little quickly but all of them were tasty and different, especially paired with their own branded wine. Dessert were well presented and a great finish to the meal.
