It was my first visit not too keen on coming back. Ordered the chicken schnitzel with shoestring fries and salad not nice some funny spice on the chicken coating. Didn't like it at all chicken lacked flavour. Chips should be salty.

The restaurant is Greek stye and whilst delicious, it is a little pricey. $26 for lamb Souvlaki. The dips were nice and they were generous with the pita bread. The pub has Espresso martinis on tap as well, if thats your thing.

The Gladstone Hotel at Dulwich Hill serves up a Greek Style flavour in the bistro called Spartan Grill. I had a delicious pulled pork roll with shoestring fries topped with herbs. All this chased down with a Cooper's Sparking Ale. .
Three and a half beer steins outta 5. 🍺🍺🍺🌓. .

After just moving to the area I just went to the hotel for the second time and was surprised to have an encounter comparing my lap dog to a machine gun. My friend and I were sitting in the outdoor smoking area and after about an hour the "manager" came out to tell us that no dogs were allowed, while this is already a bummer we asked the staff member why wasn't there a sign? He replied with a comment saying that there also wasn't a sign saying no machine guns or no topless women and that no pub anywhere allows dogs, well this is just not true at all, in fact it was the first local pub I've ever been to with an out door area that did not allow them, while I can understand that certain venues do not allow pets, as a hospitality manager myself I could not understand the idea of a simple sign that says "no dogs" was such a difficult concept to the manager who kept listing things that the sign did not allow such as
-machine guns
-topless women
-barefeet
-weapons
- horse
And the ridiculous list continues on, a dog on a leash is not a machine gun, and to repeat myself again when we mention that this was the first time we had encountered this the staff member laughed at as like the idea of a dog in a beer garden was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard in his life.
Just put a sign up guys, literally would only take 5 minutes to type it up, print and laminate.
Regardless I won't be coming to this venue again, nor will I ever recommend it, which is a shame.
