The decor is not super modern but it has an old world charm and character that makes it feel elegant still. Great location if you want access to Sydney city and transport such as busses and trains (10min walk), all Kings Cross (5 min walk).
Good facilities, very well presented room, parking available for a reasonable fee. I’m happy

Great value hotel. Couldn't complain about anything. The staff were lovely, the location was great, the rooms were very clean and the parking was the cheapest in Sydney. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

Upmarket Hotel in a good central location. Walking distance to most things. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Views across the city were great. Only one small niggle was the bathroom is a bit tired and needs a refresh. Staff were always friendly

The good: Reception is welcoming, helpful, and efficient. The average: very average room. Acceptable but not satisfying. The bad. Hotel's maintenance guy opened our door without knocking or announcing while we were in the room, wanting to fix some 'lights' (we didn't request this service). When confronted, instead of appologising, he blamed us for not putting up the 'do not disturb' sign. Unexceptionable Housekeeping miss the 'please clean' sign. When we call the desk, they send up a cleaner right away. The side note: we could just be unlucky. But the 3 star rating form this review is VERY generous, considered these circumstances.

After checking out a lot of hotel options in Sydney, I decided on something that was convenient and looked to have some character. The rooms are modern, but really appreciate the style of the place and the lobby. Staff are great, but seem that they could be looked after a bit more, they are very pleasant, but lacked a little authentic "welcome". Nothing serious, but just notable. The room was a great size and the WIFI - wow - that's fast... so I was able to upload some important work.
Close to the cross for dinner and the hire car the next day... all good.
