Very good company to deal with.
Took only 4 days to approve a damage claim on a rental vehicle.
Provide them all of the information required with as much detail as you can and the process is very quick.
Highly recommended

We recently travelled to the USA and used 1Cover travel insurance. We purchased the comprehensive travel insurance package for over $800 for 2 people. We have been using this insurance company for many years and previously had successful claims on the few items we have claimed for. Unfortunately, we had several issues on this trip - stolen bikes, lost headphones and cancelled flights. These items cost us about $1500 to replace. 1Cover gave us only $49! They use ridiculous depreciation calculations, won't cover flights that are cancelled for "operational" reasons and do not cover stolen bikes. I do not normally post negative reviews but I think that people need to be aware that this coverage is no longer comprehensive.

Had to ring and change our travel dates and it was so easy and the lady was super helpful and lovely. Can't comment on claims as we have not had to make any. Will definitely use again and certainly recommend :)

I have used 1Cover travel insurance several times when travelling in the past and previously have never made a claim. After making one since my recent trip I found that the service and results were abysmal. I lost a necklace and chain with an overall value of $1,000 and received only $400 in return when I did everything they asked to prove it was mine and I had lost it to the best of my ability. Before receiving my payment they had previously said I would get $750 back in return which I was satisfied with however then to learn I would receive almost half of that really pissed me off. I will not be using them again and would not recommend to anyone I know as a travel insurance provider. The treatment of myself, a customer who has been loyal to the company for a good many years, is disappointing to say the least.

We have always insured our holidays using 1Cover, however this is the first time we have had to make a claim. During our travels through the USA we received the call that my father had passed away and you could imagine we were desperate to reunite with our family as quickly as possible.
I contacted 1Cover and was greeted by a very professional and understanding staff member who promptly advised me of the process and provided me with my claim number. When we arrived home awaiting us was a very clear and concise email providing with details to progress our claim. Our claim was processed promptly, we were updated with its status and payment received within the advised time-frame.
Thank you 1Cover your staff and processes made this stressful time that little bit easier. Be assured we will definitely be using your travel insurance again.
