We have been using Travel Insurance Direct for about 5 years for all of our holiday travels. This has included holidays to many Asian & European destinations as well as skiing trips in Japan. TID always offer a competitive premium & are always ready to assist if you have any issues whilst travelling. The one outstanding thing is that they always contact you when you get back to see if all is ok & that you had a safe trip. Outstanding!

Luckily everything went smoothly with this holiday but we have previously had to make a couple of claims & received outstanding service on both occasions. We recommend TID to all our friends and family.

On a recently trip to Bali, we wanted to hire a scooter. The information contained in the Travel Direct Insurance policy about what to do before we left and what to when we hire, was very helpful. We went on our holiday, did all the right things and thankfully there were no mishaps.

Well no claim to make. .
I bought this policy in November or December then promptly forgot about it.
About a week before I left I got into a panic and again started to research Travel Insurance. I was about to purchase from the company I had previously used many times when I recalled going through this process before and then going back through past emails I found the one I purchased from your company.
While your email on my return was unexpected and appreciated I would suggest that your customer service should send an email a week or two before your customer leaves on their travels. This will remind those who bought about their policy and the correct procedure to ensure if they need to claim they had the right documentation and receipts.
A reminder and a Safe Travel greeting would be good customer service.
