Staff are extremely lazy
Edit: Lazy and selectively enforce rules, one of the female staff members came up to me screeching today (around 10am Nov. 10th 2017) that I'm in IMPROPER footwear and was kicking me out until a very nice male staffer lent me his shoes. That would be tolerable if there wasn't MULTIPLE BAREFOOT PEOPLE in the next room over by weights who she didn't say a word to. I can only assume it's because they're white and I'm not. The male staff member was friendly, warm and problem solving but unfortunately I think the female employee is one of those people who selectively enforce rules by her own racist feelings.
She just told me to go home, whereas the other employee accommodated me. As a business owner myself i know the importance of staff who help the customer instead of hating the customer and I'd hire that male staffer any day of the week. Would fire that passive aggressive busybody in a minute.

As a member from day one of this gym I can say that its one sustaining characteristic is it hasn't changed much since then.
It was beautifully designed and equipped affording our neighbourhood a fantastic facility. This was previously an abandoned, derelict lot and was converted with much vision and determination. Decor, generous bathrooms, great layout and lighting are all enduring features.
What Has Changed
When we first signed up our membership included classes but these were taken away as a member inclusion and made an add on that attracts a charge. A significant boon for other gyms who for a marginally smaller membership fee include classes.
Also, recently, staff hours were reduced (and gym hours increased) and a system similar to 24 hour gyms was introduced whereby users let themselves into the gym through a swipe.
What Hasn't Changed
The exercise machines (with the exception of a handful of bikes) are the same as the day the gym opened.

Didn't actually manage to join. Finally after 3 attempts somebody was available to speak. Every other time nobody was there to deal with new customers and nobody to supervise. Finally somebody was there to see us only to tell us that we weren't eligible to join besides the signs offering awesome deals.
The gym itself Looks amazing, but appears to be lots of small print. Misleading advertisement and unclear. Avoid, unfortunately...

PE Debt. is UNREAL!! The facilities are some of the best I have experienced, especially the change rooms! The function room out the back is really fun and has everything for a killer, convenient workout. Highly recommended.
