Great place with great people. Well place in the city, close to the CBD and to the train station. I lived here for more then 8 months and It feels like home now !

You better go out of your way to be nice to the management, even if they spontaneously through hidden fees at you. Otherwise you will be punished! Seriously though, they are lucky they have an endless stream of backpackers waiting to stay so they can act like children and still get business. Coming home from a long day out, seeing a roach in your room and hearing them go after people on the P.A. system about somebody who didnt clean a dish is not the right atmosphere to be enjoying the cross in.

This hostel is brilliant, the staff are friendly and always around to help. Kitchen/ bathrooms/ dorms are clean everyday and the common room has a Tv with great movies.
Met loads of great people and the evening events gets everyone involved. Fab place to come whether you're travelling solo or with friends.

Best Hostel in Kings cross, period, reception is extremely helpful, responsible. Free breakfast, basic but fits the purpose unless if you are a cooking fan or a veggie. be sure to grab their weekly offer.
Compared laundry and facilities to other hostels (i stayed in over 7 places). The swag man is 6$ in total, for washing and drying, yet, washing is 30 mins+, others had 15-20! for double the price! many subtle differences.
