Having woken up at 5.45 and cycled for an hour to reach the Paddington Reservoir Gardens in order to take sunrise photos, i was bitterly dissapointed that the City of Sydney couldn't get their act together and have their designated staff at the gate to open the park for me to explore. An hour later and i still sit here aimlessly watching the sun rise into the thick clouds. Needless to say, the photo opportunity is gone and so am i. I will not be coming back.

tranquility place in busy city... just seat on one of many beach chairs and feel wind and sun on skin... place for peace of mind and relax

In my opinion this space isn't utlized well. The upper deck, a grassed area with a couple of deck chairs is a place only an idiot would relax.
Downstairs looks cramped and what is referred to as an amazing garden actually isn't. Functions on the secured area might be good, never received am invite. But the point here is we have a great spot wasted.

A little hidden secret in Sydney. Went during the early evening when the night was lingering however would probably look the best in broad daylight! A really beautiful secret garden.
