My food was watery and didn't have much taste and it was very expensive for the size of the serve. The menu on the internet seems appetising but once there, there's not barely half of what's on the @menu. The place is cosy and the waitress lovely though. I like the "Moroccan" sangria. I wish I went elsewhere

What cafè in 2017 doesn't have WIFI? Cafè Mint! I have been a local in Surry Hills for the last 10 years. Cafè Mint use to be one of my favourite cafes. Great food, great service but unfortantely those days are over. My particular issue is the service. It's incredibly SLOW. The staff can't seem to multi-task, coffees take ages to be made and often when you walk in the staff members are out the back chatting... leaving you to stand there for 10 minutes. It's very sad as the food has always been amazing but since change of management the service is really poor! I often find my self thinking I would love to go get some food but then quickly remind myself I'll be waiting a very LONG time. I hope I can visit in a month or so and the owners have read this review so I can change it.

Lovely little breakfast spot with delicious food and coffee, worth a try if looking for something new in this area.

Food is delicious and packs flavour. Place is packed but when you get trhere early it's pretty good. Waiters know the menu well and can recommend wine that can go with your meal, you just ask.😊

Have been here for the coffee and great genuinely friendly service regularly but decided to try the food for the first time last week and so glad I did. So amazingly delicious every dish and every bite just got better and better. Just a quick tip tho. Avoid the Long Island peach tea - there are much better cocktails
