So so sad this restaurant has closed - it was a favourite of mine. Good food, reasonably priced and lovely location. I will miss this restaurant.

What a lovely day and a great restaurant experience to go with it. We had a great meal, good wine and good service. The staff were friendly. Great views and great atmosphere. The weather was just perfect and the restaurant is bordered by jasmineum trees which are highly perfumed so it makes for a perfect setting on the water's edge.

Waited nearly an hour for our order to be taken. Ordered bread but did not come. Mains between $30-$35 and I ordered the char grilled prawns for $31 which consisted of 4 prawns in some random sauce which I could not describe with some chips and a really ordinary salad. Other guests had Salmon and again with very little vegies. Really over priced and you would be much better going to a local pub or cafe in Balmain. Overall really disappointing.

This place is an ideal place for a slow Sunday lunch. Not happy with the bottled water but most of the time I have enjoyed my meals and find it reasonable.
I have had friends that have made a complaint about the size of various dishes but I have always been satisfied as I don't like overly large meals. Men might like something more substantial.

Just because the restaurant has good water views, does not mean the food can be tasteless, smallest of portions and expensive.
When we complained that the fettucini marinara was tasteless we where told that the chef had been changed and the food would taste differently. What a stupid excuse they should have taken it back and replaced it but they didn't. We did not eat it and told the waitress that we should not be charged for it. But when the bill came we were charged $28.00 for 100grams of tasteless packet pasta. We complained again and this time we were laughed at. You won't be seeing me again and I certainly will tell everybody not to go to this restaurant.
On a glorious day like today the restaurant should have been packed but I soon realised why nobody goes there. They need to get their act together sack the chef and train the staff to be friendly and attentive.
Patrons concerns should be acted upon and staff should meet and greet patrons as they arrive and thanked when they leave. None of this happened today. My money would have been better spent at Ecco's at Birkenhead Point.
