Everything great - until today. Travel agent booked me for 2 nights, should have been 3. Travel agent fixed their mistake after 1st night. Hotel left a note on my bed acknowledging the extra night extension, but apologized - said that my room needed some maintenance work and I would be switched to another room for night #3. Front desk told me to pack my suitcase after night #2, they'd move it to my new room during the day, and I could pick up my new key in the afternoon. So in the afternoon, I go to get my new room key. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was told, the maintenance work was completed so my room was not changed. I re-packed for nothing. I go to my room and my key doesn't work. Back to the front desk for a new key. Frustrating...! Ignoring that event: A great hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff.

Pros:
Brian and Jose were both great and helped us with suggestions for food, tourism and other items for our room. Overall, everyone is very nice.
Cons:
Our room was very small and was not Harbor facing. I requested a room with a view and was told it would be a significant up-charge, which I agreed to pay. The front desk said were going to move us when a room became available, but no one ever called us back. I requested a room move on the first 3 days at the front desk, but again, no one ever responded and I finally gave up 4 days in.

Came here for the dome soiree during the last month of winter. Great view of the bridge and the sunset. Service is excellent and top rated. We had so much food and sparkling wine. The area is also nice for walking dogs. You get privacy in the domes. Bar is big and cozy.

Such a brilliant location. If you're a visitor to Australia and want to see the iconic sights of Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera house, they're right on your doorstep here!
You're surrounded by harbour here (as the name suggests, it's located on the docks where industrial goods etc used to come into Sydney). You can see goat island etc. from the bar.
It's also a quick (but steep) walk up to the middle of the Rocks.
The breakfast is great - brilliant range of high quality fresh food.
I was fortunate enough to come here for our work conference. The conference/meeting facilities are also awesome (but it's very distracting looking out onto the harbour).
Lastly, the rooms are really nice (and equipped with nice furnishings and tech). Not large windows, but I can imagine the rooms facing the water have a great view!

They SAVED my holiday. Was booked at an apartment location (that was terrible) and luckily Pier One had 2 rooms available last minute. Hooray!
Staff fantastic. Food delicious. Location superb. Very comfortable walking out at night in this area. Room comfortable/cozy. Will definitely stay there again when in Sydney.
