Holes in the upholstery. Mama's Meatball Burger is disgusting - weak soupy sauce and they don't sear off the bun, so the juices just liquified it (and the staff didn't care that my $17 lunch was inedible - response to feedback was "uhhh... ok" and blank looks). Chips were pre-cut and processed, like you would get from McDonalds. Coffee nice - grab takeaway for a wander around the markets. But we would never *eat* here again.

The toasted croissant was amazing and the wait times were short. The drinks were lovely as well

This used to be a really solid cafe with good varied menu. Now it's gone hipster. If you you don't want quinoa, linseed and soy toast with your scrambled eggs, don't come here because they won't let you have anything else.

Great for kids and families familiar to the Balmain lifestyle. Usually pretty crowded, the wait for coffee and food can leave you slightly annoyed. There is parking nearby, but like most of Balmain/Rozelle you need to pay for parking or have a local permit for the area. Don't risk not paying, the parking inspectors are full time sharks in this area. I'm sure they wait in the bush and start a timer when they see you. Dog friendly cafe and they will bring your pet water. Overall it's a good cafe, but wouldn't recommend for a quiet bite on the weekend, it gets pretty busy.
