I go here for the food court on level 5. The lunch stores are much better than your average food court. I'd suggest arriving before 12:30 to get a table more easily.

3rd Biggest Shopping Mall of Australia at Pitt Street just under Sydney Tower, a busy and beautiful place of Sydney. If you want to make mood, go there, sit on a bench and look at crowd, tourist groups, street singers, instrument players and glare at top of highest Sydney Tower top and gallery. This was established in 1891 as Imperial Arcade, then named Centerpoint Shopping Centre and now as Westfield Sydney. I do not call it tourist place but it is a city modern commercial area of very high ambience which attracts your attention.

A lot of high end fashion shops. Great if you want to people watch. The food court is very nice and fancy for a food court but if I am going to spend $30 a meal. I can go to a nice restaurant.
If you love people watching though this is the place for you. I wouldn't naturally go here but many do.

Beautiful and opulent shopping centre with lovely restaurants as well.
If you have money to spend, this is the place to spend it with incredible - and large - designer stores, views from the upper levels too.
If you don't have too much money to spend, it's a nice place to walk around and enjoy the cleanliness of the shiny marble and larger stores - head to the bottom level for cheaper, well known 'street wear' stores with a really cool vibe.
Bathrooms are kept immaculate too.
Food is rather pricey, I'd recommend Chinatown a few blocks away for authentic meals at a good price.

The best shopping you can aspire for if your pockets are well stuffed with money (otherwise you can wait for that time and meanwhile go window shopping). It gets better and better as you climb up the floors. Huge offer of great food at the various food courts, there's something for any budget.
