Lynn has framed a number of works for me and I've always been delighted with the finished work. In fact, I've enjoyed my works even more after having them framed professionally and being able to enjoy them on my walls.
Not all of the works that I've had framed have been 'valuable' however, Lynn has always been able to find my an affordable solution that compliments the work.
I have no hesitation in recommending Lynn and her picture framing service.

I brought my New Orleans Jazz Fest poster in to have framed. Lynn helped me pick the right mat and frame from so many options. She has a keen eye for what she does and took her time with me until I was excited about my choice. I am very happy with my new poster hanging on the wall!

I usually don't bother to write reviews on the internet, but I really want to put Philip's bad experience with That Framing Place into perspective. I am super satisfied with the service. I arrived at That Framing Place for the first time, with a few already framed pictures, and two photographs that I wanted to get framed, so that all pictures together would form a nice group. Not an easy task, as the pictures ranged from a classical oil painting to a black and white photograph. Lynn spent almost an hour finding the perfect frames with me and the right colour mattes. The result is stunning. I have had many more pictures framed by That Framing Place since then, and I have learnt to call Lynn before I drive to Balmain to pick them up, because yes, she doesn't always have things ready when she said she would. But I'm alright with that. She probably got distracted helping someone else find the perfect frame!

If my experience is a guide, avoid That Framing Place. The service was slow, uncommunicative, and inferior.
I visited Lynn at That Framing Place to get a couple of mattes cut for use in some old frames I was recycling. Two weeks after putting in the job order, I rang them and was told 'I can do that today if you want to come and collect it tomorrow'. When I went to collect the mattes, despite measuring the print and backing boards in front of me (and two weeks waiting) one of the final mattes was too big for the print. A second matte was only barely big enough to cover the print leaving only 1-2mm coverage on the edges. I took the print back and after another measurement session and three week wait (apparently she lost her mobile and couldn't contact me) I got a replacement matte with 1mm overhang at top and bottom. Useless. Impossible to get the print to stay in place with so little coverage from the matte.
After 6 weeks run-around with Lynn at That Framing Place, I've given up and gone elsewhere to get a correctly cut matte. Who knew cutting a hole in a piece of cardboard could be so hard? Or so slow? Or that a tape measure was so difficult to master?
Maybe if Lynn had communicated with me, or given me a realistic time-frame upfront, and bothered to call me when the mattes were ready to collect, I would have given her another chance but I'd rather avoid the inevitable frustration.
