ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL the way my niece was treated during the birth of her first child was what you would call inhumane she was tied to her bed in styrups and her baby was ripped from her body resulting in her almost bleeding out and being rushed to surgary she has had no support from the midwifes and being accused of being anfit mother wich has now resulted in a fight to get our baby back from the system who failed her righr from the start

Pretty poor care
My partner was transferred to Tamworth from Narrabri hospital by ambulance with respiratory problems, honestly he should have stayed in Narrabri hospital as the care given there was 99% better!
Even when I rang to check if he had arrived and if he was ok I was spoken to by a male wo was rude and abrupt! I realise they are busy but if they are that busy just tell me they are busy and try calling again a little later!!
When he arrived he was wearing a mask that Narrabri nurses has given him in case he was suffering the influenza! When he arrived at Tamworth he was asked by a nurse why he was wearing it? He told them that it was to stop his germs and influenza being spread to staff and other patients! The nurse removed it and threw it in the bin even though he had an extremely bad cough! This is pure negligence!!!! Also
Since he arrived he's had very little care, and the meal that was given to him tonight had a piece of meat and gravy! Nothing else! Not even a drink!
He had no water jug in his room either! I work in the catering department as a supervisor in a hospital in Newcastle and I have to say if a meal left our kitchen looking like that Ide be horrified!! I also realise it's not a motel but a drink at least with the meal is expected!
Disappointing that the hospital is looking fantastic and new but the care is terrible and the food service is even worse.

A JOKE!!!
I went in at 6am with a severe inner ear infection caused by the flu I've had for the past week which developed into an ear infection overnight.
I couldn't hear and the pain STILL IS 11/10.
The arrogant and rude nurses at the counter stuffed me around (taking my details twice) and the so called 'doctor' told me to take panadol and go home after she told me that my ear drum was swollen and their was BLOOD IN MY EAR.
I was told that if my ear drum bursts, the pain will go away!!!
IF MY EAR DRUM BURSTS, THE PAIN WILL GO AWAY.
IF MY EAR DRUM BURSTS.
PAIN WILL GO AWAY.
THIS HOSPITAL IS A JOKE!!!!
They offered NOTHING to help, NOTHING.
Pouring olive oil into my ear helped.
